Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Necdet Tuğrul Artuğ, a faculty member of our department, and with Prof. Dr. Selami Beyhan serving as a researcher, the research project titled “Evaluation of CMAP Scan Curves in Patient and Control Groups Using Automated Software: Investigating the Effect of the Thickness of Plateaus in Compound Muscle Action Potentials on Disease Severity," has been awarded funding by the Scientific Research Projects Commission of Yıldız Technical University under the General Research Projects category.

Led by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Amasyalı, chair of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, the Cosmos team has developed Cosmos T1, a new-generation AI model capable of thinking in Turkish. The project, which has also been featured in the national press, is seen as having the potential to enhance the international competitiveness of Turkish-focused artificial intelligence research.
