A TÜBİTAK 1001 Success from Our Department: Next-Generation Defense Against Zero-Day Ransomware Using Artificial Intelligence
Our faculty member, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arzu KAKIŞIM, titled “Development of an Explainable Multi-Modal Architecture Based on Hybrid Analysis for Zero-Day Ransomware Detection,” has been approved under the TÜBİTAK 1001 program.
In this project, which aims to combat the ever-increasing ransomware threats in the cyber world, an innovative architecture for the detection and explainability of unknown (zero-day) threats will be developed using Static and Dynamic Hybrid Analysis, Large Language Models (LLM), and Zero-Shot Learning techniques to develop an innovative architecture focused on the detection and explainability of unknown (zero-day) threats.
We congratulate our professor on his contributions to the field of cybersecurity and wish him continued success.
