Our Department Chair, Mehmet Fatih Amasyalı, and the Cosmos Team’s Success with the Turkish Language Model Featured in the National Press
Led by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Fatih Amasyalı, chair of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering at Yıldız Technical University, the Cosmos team has developed Cosmos T1, a new-generation AI model capable of thinking in Turkish. The project, which has also been featured in the national press, is seen as having the potential to enhance the international competitiveness of Turkish-focused artificial intelligence research.
